Filters (Poem): This society, my american society, you’re american society that we live in. Live? How can we live with all the bullshit, do this, don’t do that. Where’s the truth, nobody wants to hear that cause it’s not always pretty thats a pitty. so just filter it. there’s filter’s everywhere you look and everywhere you turn but unlike a stop sign or street light, most times, SOME of us, miss them all. I don’t. But I will not lie and say I’ve found my calling. Ha, I want this feeling of doom to go away! I still haven’t found that brook, that hook that thing, naked and clean… yet dirty to the world. Filters. What are filters? Well, there are all kinds. Telescope filters are used to enhance the details of celestial objects of what you see. What you see. You see. See See? Are you really seeing? You want to filter what I see you want to filter what I hear from tv to society but you ain’t filtering me All the good things all the truths some things aren’t good but to know, it’s not of any good use? You’re like a mother overbearing overprotecting isolating your child but are you really that loving America says yes she is and you are just the brat look a little closer baby you might see where I’m at nothing’s real all matter is fake it’s just sex appeal filtered like a Faucet you think you’re being purified you can get just with just guns violence god religion sex and tv How can I find peace of mind with all of these filters I can’t unwind or be me so what I’ve learned is …

The Andy Griffith Show: Aunt Bee’s Medicine Man – Season 3, Episode 24 (1963)

May 20, 2012

March 11, 1963 – Aunt Bee’s Medicine Man After worrying about her age and health, Aunt Bee falls for the sales pitch of a fast-talking medicine man and his "Indian Elixir." Barney tries to make himself look like a publicity photo of Rock Hudson. This episode features Mayberry’s first actual death: Augusta "Gussie" Finch at 10:30 AM. Aunt Bee gives the Taylor’ address as 332 Maple Road. Colonel Harvey’s "Indian Elixir" is 85% alcohol. Andy says Aunt Bee is such a teetotaler that she will not allow even a fruitcake in the house, on account of "a brother she had." Beatrice Taylor (commonly known as Aunt Bee) is a fictional character from the 1960s American television sitcom The Andy Griffith Show. The show was televised on CBS from October 3, 1960, until April 1, 1968. The character migrated to the spinoff Mayberry RFD (1968–1971) when The Andy Griffith Show ended its run. Note that though she was the aunt of Sheriff Andy Taylor, virtually every character in Mayberry called her "Aunt Bee", regardless of whether they were related to her or not. Aunt Bee is the paternal aunt of widower Sheriff Andy Taylor and great-aunt to his son Opie Taylor. In the premiere episode of The Andy Griffith Show, "The New Housekeeper", Aunt Bee returns to Mayberry after a five-year sojourn in Morgantown, West Virginia, when Andy’s housekeeper Rose marries and leaves his house. Aunt Bee thereafter manages Andy’s household and becomes Opie’s surrogate mother …
